2月下旬、セカンドレベルの中心地、アトランタへご挨拶+サポートレイズの旅へ行きました。出迎えてくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございます。 1日目は、マルチン・ルーサー・キングJr.の記念公園へ。私、優美は何回かアトランタへ来たことがあるのですが、マルチン・ルーサー・キングJr.のゆかりの場所を訪れるのは初めてです。 マルチン・ルーサー・キングJr.夫妻のお墓。 教科書で見た歴史的出来事の地を実際に訪れることが出来るなんて、感激です。 資料館には、実際にマルチン・ルーサー・キングJr.が身につけていた衣服などが展示されていました。 地域の日本人教会の先生方にもお会いできて、嬉しかったです。 アトランタの韓国系教会でミニストリーリーダーの祈り会がありました。地域のクリスチャンリーダーが集まることが出来る集会で「ミニストリーで失敗したこと」をグループで共有しました。失敗話という、話しにくい内容を初めてのメンバーでも正直に話し合うことが出来る雰囲気は素晴らしいなと思いました。それぞれの失敗体験はとても参考になりました。 訪問先の韓国教会で目にした、マグカップラック。 かわいい。安全性が確保できるなら、こんなのやってみたい。 トミーはもちろん、素敵なカフェへの訪問を欠かしません。The Saltyというカフェへやってきました。 滞在中、ライドなど、沢山の時間を共に過ごしてくれたStaveと。机の上のドーナツは、このカフェの名物Saltyドーナツ。 各地の教会や仲間たちとつながりを作ることは、恵みです。 恵み豊かなアトランタ訪問でした！

Since then, he has been studying Japanese, serving in Japanese international student ministry in the US, and participating in multiple short-term mission trips to the Tohoku region. In 2018, he spent a year serving at a Japanese church in Yokohama. We are full of gratitude that the Lord has allowed us the privilege of bringing the Gospel and the Love of Christ to the students at Tokai University. We began a Coffee Roasting subscription coffee service in 2021 as a way to financially support Jlodge.
